A graduate the University of Missouri – Columbia (aka Mizzou), I have a diploma on the wall stating that I have my BFA in Graphic Design and a minor in Art History, which I consider my greatest accomplishment.

Music is the driving force in my life and I’m a sucker for a good concert or fun song. I love road trips, especially ones for concerts, driving the open roads and getting to see parts of the country that are mostly lost while listening to good music and laughing with good friends. And I’m pretty much obsessed with the color green and anything having to do with Halloween, Gothic architecture (vaulting styles!) and the pride I have for St.Louis. I dig the classic monster movies, animated/claymated things (Pixar, Burton), Wes Anderson films, Cameron Crowe’s Almost Famous and Elizabethtown and anything featuring Steve Martin. I’m totally up for nerding out over the things listed above due to the fact that I’m a complete and total nerd.

Currently living in a space I like to call ‘The Back-Bedroom Atelier’ and working as best I can at a thankless job to pay the bills, waiting for the job market to turn around in my favor. I wouldn’t call myself a starving artists but I can relate to the quote “I’m not poor, I just eat a lot of spaghetti.” But I’m happy and that means everything in the world.

Oh, and Roy Lichtenstein>Andy Warhol any day. I’ll totally debate you on this.
